My new horse has had several panic attacks in the aisle when fastened to cross ties. I started slipping the lead rope through a loose loop in one cross tie and she is much happier.
I have used this clip with her when tying to the side of the trailer and it has worked well. A couple of times she seemed uncomfortable and pulled back, but relaxed once she felt some slack, avoiding the panic I’ve seen before in the aisle. I will definitely use this when we are on the road and I need to tie her in the trailer or to the side. (I would use in the aisle but the rings are very high up and require a ladder).
Slow release clips are essentials for the barn and the trailer!
I use these in the barn and in my trailer! I have purchased multiple clips
