A very good, very informative, and very well done video! I have learned so much about a subject I had not known about in the past. I am anxious to try it out on my three older horses who have had quite a lot of ground work but not this particular way of teaching them how to respond correctly to the bit and all done from the ground! Great for the stage of training they are now doing. Julie is such a great teacher and explains in detail how everything should be done. Thank you!!
I had not know about this method of “bitting” and am now trying it on both of my older mares, both of which are a little on the unusual side! I am hoping this will help them understand what it is all about! They have had much ground work but this method may (I hope) teach them to trust and understand what the bit is all about and to learn to respect, accept, and feel comfortable with a bit.
