I absolutely love these round reins! I had been using a mecate reins and I liked them ok, but all of that rope just got in my way when trying to train my horse. These are a bit wider around and feel much better in my hands. I like the easy way they attach to the bit as well. I would highly recommend these reins!

Wonderful reins! I ordered the flourescent Orange colored reins for several reasons: Perfect for fall with hunters around, nice; big and soft for my arthritic hands and that they will be far easier to hold during winter riding than the thin leather reins during cold temps. The leather reins get too slippery to hold in cold temps so am very excited over these lovely, soft, durable rope reins. These reins are amazing and I love how they easily attach to any bit!

LOVE these reins! They were an immense help when I started using them with my gelding. Small movements of my hands and he knows exactly what I’m asking him. We’ve never communicated better than what we do when I use these reins with him. I love them so much I purchased a second set to train my mustang with.

    I love these reins! They have a good feel to them and are the perfect weight. I ordered the 10′ reins because my horse has a large neck. I do have the 9′ reins as well, but for my big boy, I felt I didn’t have enough rein length. The 10′ gave me that extra length I needed.

How are these reins breakaway as you recommend for safety? Deb asked on September 16, 2023
