The raised edge horse body brush is classic and classy. It has a fine black horse hair center with a raised horse hair edge. Natural horse hair bristles. Easy-to-hold beech wood base with rosewood stain, and a comfort elastic strap make this classic finishing brush your new favorite.
This brush fits nicely into your hand and cleans your horse’s coat by lifting dust and dander particles. The raised edge helps flick away dirt. The natural bristles bring up and distribute the horse’s own skin oils evenly over the coat to create a nice shine.
How to use this brush:
1. Thoroughly curry your horse’s coat
2. Use a dandy brush to flick up dirt in short flicking strokes
3. Follow up with the body brush and groom in long sweeping strokes with the direction of hair growth
4. Repeat until your horse’s coat shines
5. Follow up with the finishing brush

Love this brush. It pulls up the dirt with the longer outside bristles and the inside bristles whisk away the dirt leaving the horses hair nicely groomed. He likes it as well. Especially on the belly and legs! It fits nicely in your hand. I have not washed this brush yet.
