I have an older (maybe 15 to 18 years old) mare, half Arab, half Tennessee Walker, that is a rescue from Texas that was shipped to us last Feb. Although she has been ridden I am not sure what all she understands so I thought this might help me know how to start her in the round pen. She is very sensitive and gentle, yet as her health has improved she is also “spunky”. I have started her and she is skeptical of it so far but she has only had a few lessons so I am hoping this type of training will help build her trust and respect for me. This is a very good training video and so well explained by Julie. Her patience and ability to teach is so appreciated.!
